    Greetings fellow Sayans!

Planet Vegeta version 2 is now in live public beta!

I skipped alpha to release a beta build due to the fact that I felt as if the development of alpha would take longer because of the way the development life cycle works. This new software is now available for testing by visiting the following link!

    http://planet-vegeta.com/beta/

Please be advised that you will need to sign up again as I am still working on a database migration tool to port your accounts here into the new database. The only issue with that currently is that your passwords are held in a secure table away from the user table. The session table is where all the authentication happens but my software doesn't follow the same structure. I decided to hash your passwords instead to provide 256 bit encryption and less likely for your accounts to ever get hijacked in case of a forum takeover.

Feel free to explore and test features as I add them. I'll be created a separate section on here addressing each new added feature individually in their own threads.

    Have fun!
    Love, Planet Vegeta Staff

It's kinda weird looking so far. I'm gonna make an account later so I can root around in there and have fun.

Okay. I signed up, got the email, but when I copy/pasted the URL to activate it, I get no feedback that my account has been activated. Maybe I expected a "your account has been activated successfully", though the "Welcome to the Beta" is good enough.

What does it mean when you respond to a thread there and it shows waiting for approval? I thought I went through the verification email process already

Why is it that when I'm about to sign in, I get a message that the connection is not secure and logins could be compromised? Now I'm scared of even attempting to log in.

That's because it is becoming a standard for people to be forced to use SSL's when setting up websites. But an actual SSL certificate costs $100 per domain per year unless you have VPS hosting and free SSL's.

It has become a strange age.

    That's unfortunate.
